1. Forest land selection and land preparation: Land preparation generally adopts full reclamation, deep plowing 30 cm, removing stones, tree roots and other debris. Dig 40-80 planting holes per mu.

2. Mother bamboo selection: Choose a mother bamboo that is 1-2 years old, 6-12 cm thick, with low branches, free of pests and diseases, and without flowering.

3. Water management: Water the plants if there is drought, especially during the bamboo shoot growth and bamboo shoot differentiation period from July to September.

4. Reasonable fertilization: It can be combined with soil loosening, three times a year, apply 10-15 kg of human manure per plant in February, 25 kg of human manure in June, pig manure in September, etc. Chemical fertilizers can also be applied, but they must be diluted with water.

5. Reasonable retention and maintenance: dig near and leave far, dig weak and leave strong, dig dense and leave sparse.
