How to repot Maruyeji Autumn Lily

How to repot Maruyeji Autumn Lily

1. Take out

Be careful and gentle when removing the Maruleaf Autumn Plant from the pot, and try not to damage the roots of the plant. Use a shovel to carefully dig from the edge of the flowerpot. It is best to remove the succulent from the pot without any damage.

2. Prune the roots

After taking the Maruyeji Autumn Plant out of the pot, separate the soil and pebbles from the roots, and clean up the soil stuck to the roots. All old and rotten roots are trimmed off, leaving only the healthy roots.

3. Watering

A humid environment helps root growth. After trimming the roots, you can spray some water into the prepared soil to keep the soil moist.

4. Loading soil

First, fill the pot with some soil (about one-third of the total capacity), then put the Maruyeji Autumn Lily into the pot, arrange it in the right position, hold the Maruyeji Autumn Lily with your hands and start adding soil. It is worth noting that you should not fill the soil too full, as it will be difficult to water later. Before putting the Maruyeji Autumn Lily into the pot, you can add some fertilizer to the soil to supplement it with nutrients.

5. Compaction

After planting the Maruyedoensis, hold it with your hand and gently tap the flowerpot with a small stick to make the soil more compact. Finally, clean the surface of the soil to make it smoother.

This way, you have changed the pot for the Maruyeqiujili. After planting, place it in a ventilated and cool place and allow it to receive appropriate light. Once the succulents have fully recovered, you can safely care for them normally. It should be noted that you should not rush to water after changing the pot.

Most of the leaves of the Maruyeji Autumn Lily are only the size of millet grains, and it is easy to grow in groups, looking very cute. The leaves are green in summer, and turn into a lovely pink in autumn and winter when there is enough sunlight. Under strong light, there is a slight metallic luster, which is very beautiful. Every one or two years in the spring it is time to repot it. Don't wait until it bursts out of the pot when repotting it, because it will be difficult to control its shape and the drooping leaves will be easily damaged.
