What are the plants with special abilities?

1. Dancing Grass

As the name suggests, dancing grass can dance gracefully and move itself. The reasons why dancing grass dances are mainly related to temperature, sunlight and sound wave sensing. There are a large number of linear leaflets distributed on both sides of the leaves of dancing grass, which are very sensitive to sound waves. Under sunlight, when dancing grass is stimulated by sound waves, it will swing up and down continuously, just like dancing.

2. Sandbox Tree

The Sandbox Tree has large conical spikes along its trunk that can explode with a very loud sound. When the fruit bursts, the seeds can be thrown 14 meters away, thus achieving the purpose of seed dispersal.

3. Nepenthes

Nepenthes is a plant that can prey on insects. Its leaf structure is relatively complex, and the leaves are divided into petioles, leaf bodies, and tendrils. The cap of the pitcher-shaped body can secrete fragrance, thereby attracting insects. When insects come following the smell, the pitcher mouth is smooth, and the insects will slide into the pitcher and be drowned by the liquid secreted from the bottom of the bottle. The pitcher plant will decompose the insects, gradually digesting and absorbing them and converting them into nutrients.

4. Compass Tree

The compass tree can replace the compass to determine the direction. A row of fine needles on the trunk can point to the south.

5. Mimosa

The reason why mimosa is called this name is because it responds to people's touch. When people touch it, its leaves will automatically close.

6. Others

There are also whistling thorns, Victoria amazonica, eucalyptus, and man-catching vines.
