Coral Pagoda Breeding Methods and Precautions

Coral Pagoda Breeding Methods and Precautions

1. Soil

The soil for cultivating coral reef is generally made of a mixture of fine soil and wood ash. This kind of soil is loose and has good water-conserving properties, which is very helpful for the growth and development of coral reef. After mixing the soil, it should be disinfected or placed under the sun for exposure.

2. Water

Water management should be strengthened when the seedlings are young. Generally, watering should be done once every five days or so, and the amount of water should be sufficient to ensure that the plants are thoroughly watered without water accumulation. As the coral plant grows, the frequency of watering can be reduced accordingly. When it rains, it should be drained and removed in time to avoid affecting the normal growth of the plant.

3. Nutrients

Coral reef fertilization is from the formation of the seedling root system to the first fifteen days of growth cessation in winter. Fertilizer is generally decomposed organic fertilizer. Avoid spreading fertilizer when the temperature is relatively high, and do not spread fertilizer on the roots of the plants. The amount of fertilizer applied should be based on the growth of the seedlings, and it is best to apply fertilizer about four times during the growth period.

4. Lighting

It is a light-loving plant and a positive tree species. Adequate light absorption can make the plant thrive and have thick branches and leaves. However, it cannot tolerate direct sunlight, as it will damage its branches and leaves.
