How to cultivate Terminalia terrestris

How to cultivate Terminalia terrestris

1. Soil

Terminalia tamarind is suitable for growing in loose, fertile, well-drained and breathable sandy soil. It can also grow in peat soil and limestone. It is recommended to mix garden soil or leaf mold with some river sand and base fertilizer to make its nutrient soil. Such soil is more suitable for its growth.

2. Lighting

It likes light and also partial shade. Grows well in both full sun and shade. It can be planted on the beach or in a place with sufficient sunlight, which will allow it to grow better.

3. Temperature

It is a tropical tree species that prefers a warm environment. The average temperature throughout the year is 24-28℃, which is most conducive to its growth. During the winter, it needs to be kept properly warm to help it survive the winter safely.

4. Watering

It is relatively resistant to waterlogging, so you can water it more each time, and make sure to water it thoroughly, especially during the dry season in summer, so you must water it frequently. It also likes a humid environment. You can spray some water around it to increase the humidity of the air, which is more conducive to its growth.

5. Fertilization

It does not require much fertilizer, and some compound fertilizer can be applied one month after planting. After that, apply compound fertilizer once every 1-2 months. The concentration should not be too high. Water the plant after fertilizing to prevent fertilizer damage.
