1. Different roots

Hemerocallis is a plant of the Liliaceae family and the genus Hemerocallis. It is also called Sichuan grass flower, Forget-me-not, Danji, Daylily, and Lucong. It is the mother flower in China. It is a perennial flower with a short rhizome and thick fleshy roots at the bottom of the plant, which is spindle-shaped.

Lily is a plant of the Liliaceae family and the genus Lilium. There are many varieties of lily, which are also called Qiang Shu, Qiang Qu, Fan Jiu, Shan Dan, and Ye Zhou. It is a bulbous plant with a spherical bulb that is pale white on the outside and is composed of a large number of egg-shaped scales.

2. Different flowers

Daylily will bloom around May. Its flowers are relatively small and the pedicels are relatively long. When it blooms, several flowers will bloom together at the same time, with a relatively small distance in between and they are relatively close together. The color of the flowers is orange-yellow, which is quite different from the latter.

Lilies will bud around June. The flowers are relatively large and funnel-shaped. When they bloom, the distance between each flower is also very large and they are not close to each other. Although there are many varieties, the flowers are generally white.
