What to do if the leaves of Clivia curl

What to do if the leaves of Clivia curl

1. Division is not suitable

When this plant was divided, the roots were injured, causing the roots to be unable to absorb nutrients normally, so the leaves showed signs of curling. At this time, we should be careful not to force the seedlings apart when dividing them, but cut them directly with a knife. After cutting them, we should immediately apply charcoal powder on the wound to prevent the seedlings from rotting. When planting, be sure to use disinfected sandy soil.

2. Pot soil moisture

If you forget to water this plant when growing it, causing the soil in the pot to become too dry, then there will not be enough water supplied to the plant to meet its growth needs, and signs of leaf curling will appear. At this time, if we discover it, we should water it in time. In spring and autumn, just keep the soil in the pot slightly moist, but not too wet, otherwise it will easily show signs of root rot.

3. Poor matrix

If the soil for cultivation has poor aeration and drainage, the roots of the plants will be suffocated and unable to absorb the nutrients they need, causing the plants to develop poorly. At this time we need to change the soil in time. First, carefully pull out the roots of the entire plant, then wash the soil off the roots, then prepare some mud and sand, mix one-fifth of sand according to the amount of mud, stir evenly and then carefully plant the plant, then the plant will enter a normal growth state.
