How to plant longan

1. Clean the seeds

Clean the longan seeds and be careful not to leave any residual pulp on them, otherwise they will easily rot during soaking.

2. Soak the seeds

Place the cleaned seeds in a container, add appropriate amount of water and soak them for about a week. Remember to change the clean water every day. When the longan core cracks, you can take it out and plant it.

3. Sowing Method

Sow the longan seeds evenly in the flowerpot, making sure the cracked part faces upwards. Then cover the flowerpot with a layer of plastic film and place it in the sun. It will germinate in about a week.

4. Post-maintenance

After the seeds take root and sprout, they need to be carefully cared for and watered according to the moisture of the soil. After about ten days, when the plants have grown stronger, the longan should be moved to a well-ventilated window or balcony for care.
