1. Lighting

This plant originally grows in tropical environments and prefers the exposure to light scattered by water vapor under the forest. Since the plant generally lives in rainforests with dense and tall trees, it can grow normally in a hidden environment with a lack of light.

2. Temperature

Its origin determines that this is a plant that can withstand higher temperatures. The most suitable temperature for it is 20 to 30 degrees. The plant cannot be grown in too cold conditions. It will start to be affected when it is below 8 degrees, and the lowest cannot be lower than 5 degrees.

3. Soil

The soil is similar to that of most flowers and plants. Choose fertile soil that is loose, breathable, and well-drained. You can mix peat soil, pond mud, and sandy soil and add some fertilizer.

4. Watering

Its place of origin is very humid, so it has developed a moisture-loving characteristic. When you raise it yourself, the air humidity should not be lower than 60%. When it is hot and dry, you should spray more water and ensure ventilation. When the room temperature is low in winter, reduce the amount of water, otherwise it will cause the roots to turn black and rot. At this time, spraying warm water once a week can better ensure that the leaves remain evergreen.

The weeping angel plant has a high demand for fertilizer. It should be fertilized once every half a month in warm weather, mainly nitrogen fertilizer. If you spray it properly with a solution containing iron, the leaves can grow bigger and more shiny. When the temperature is below 15 degrees, the growth of the weeping angel basically stops and fertilization should be stopped.

6. Pruning

The main purpose of this bonsai is to appreciate its leaves, so when the leaves turn yellow and dry, you should remove the leaves and stems together to make the whole bonsai look good.
