1. Family

Koelreuteria paniculata is a plant of the Sapindaceae family and the Koelreuteria genus. It is cultivated all over the world and has a relatively wide distribution.

2. Features

The bark of the Koelreuteria paniculata is relatively thick, and the surface color is gray-brown to gray-black. As the tree gets older, the longitudinal cracks become more obvious and appear dark brown. The leaves are opposite or alternate, papery in texture, about 5-10 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, with a relatively blunt base and irregular serrations on the edges. Its flowering period is from June to August. The panicle is about 25-40 cm long. A single flower has 4 petals and the flower color is light yellow.
