Hawaiian coconut cultivation methods and precautions

1. Pot soil requirements

You can use white plastic pots or clay pots to grow Hawaiian coconuts. The soil requirements are loose, breathable, and preferably containing humus. For potted plants, you can mix leaf mold, garden soil and river sand, but the soil should not be too thick.

2. Temperature maintenance

The temperature suitable for its growth and development is between 20-30℃. It has a certain degree of cold resistance, and the breeding temperature at 10℃ will not affect its growth. The temperature during the winter should be maintained above 2℃, and it should be kept indoors as much as possible in winter, especially in the north, where the outdoor temperature may hinder its growth.

3. Watering method

When caring for the plant, keep the soil slightly moist, water it in moderation, and do not allow water to accumulate in the soil. When the breeding climate is dry, it is necessary to spray water on the plants and the ground appropriately, which will make the humidity in the air higher. Late autumn and winter are relatively cold, so less watering is needed.

IV. Precautions

During the maintenance period, the plant must not be exposed to the sun. In the hot summer, pay attention to shading and it is better to give it an appropriate amount of diffuse light. However, the breeding environment should not be too dark and should have adequate light.
