1. Difference of bladesThe leaves of verbena are ovate to obovate or oblong-lanceolate, about 2-8 cm long and 1-5 cm wide. The edges of the basal leaves will be serrated and notched, and the stem leaves will have three deep lobes with serrated edges. There are stiff hairs on both sides, especially on the veins on the back. Rosemary leaves are linear and usually grow in clusters on branches. Compared with the former, the leaves are much smaller, about 1-2.5 cm long and 1-2 mm wide, with a blunt tip and gradually narrow base. The margin is entire and has no serrations. It is nearly glabrous on the upper side and has pubescence on the lower side. 2. The difference between flowersVerbena has axillary and terminal spike inflorescences, and the corolla color ranges from light purple to blue. Rosemary flowers have almost five peduncles, a few of which grow in racemes at the tops of short branches, and the corolla is blue-purple in color. |
