It has a good effect on dispersing blood stasis, stopping bleeding, clearing away heat and detoxifying. It is mainly used to treat diseases such as bloody stool, metrorrhagia, leucorrhea, dysentery, enteritis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc. It can also be used externally to treat symptoms such as traumatic bleeding, carbuncles, swellings, and injuries from falls.

For internal use, you only need to take 2 to 5 qian of Polygonum villosa and boil it in water to drink. For external use, take an appropriate amount and mash it into powder and apply it directly to the affected area. It can also be used in combination with other medicinal materials.
