How to save the flower when its leaves turn yellow

How to save the flower when its leaves turn yellow

1. Suitable lighting

When caring for flower plants, it is necessary to provide appropriate light. If they are placed in a place with strong light for a long time, the leaves will be sunburned and turn yellow. However, if it is kept in a dark place for a long time, the leaves will become soft, wilted and yellow. Therefore, it is best to place it in a bright place with scattered light, so that it is sufficient without getting sunburned.

2. Water appropriately

Another main reason why leaves turn yellow during maintenance is improper watering. Lack of water or stagnant water will cause yellow leaves. When there is water shortage, the old leaves turn yellow first, from top to bottom, while when there is water accumulation, the young leaves turn yellow first and the new shoots shrink. If there is a lack of water, replenish water in time. If there is water accumulation, stop watering and place it in a well-ventilated place to allow the water to evaporate as quickly as possible.

3. Apply fertilizer appropriately

The yellowing of leaves of flowers and plants may also be due to lack of fertilizer. During maintenance, appropriate amounts of fertilizer should be applied to supplement nutrients. Also pay attention to what specific fertilizer is lacking. If there is a lack of phosphorus fertilizer, the old leaves will turn yellow first. If there is a lack of calcium fertilizer, the young leaves will curl and turn yellow. If there is a lack of phosphorus fertilizer, the plant will lose its luster and the old leaves will turn yellow first. When applying fertilizer, choose the appropriate type of fertilizer based on the actual situation.

4. Suitable temperature

If the temperature is too high during maintenance or the plant cannot adapt to the low temperature environment, the leaves will turn yellow. Therefore, more water should be sprayed to cool down during high temperature seasons, and the temperature should be controlled during low temperature seasons to provide the plants with a more suitable growth environment so that they can recover and grow more vigorously.
