What should I do if the leaves of glass jade turn yellow?

What should I do if the leaves of glass jade turn yellow?

Causes and solutions

Too much sunlight

It is good to expose flowers to sunlight, but too strong sunlight will weaken the photosynthesis of the flowers and cause the leaves to turn yellow. Therefore, the light intensity of glass jade should be moderate. For example, in winter, you should put it in a sunny place more often. You can also rotate the flower pot once every six days or so and change its direction so that it receives even light. In summer, when the sun is strong, just put it in a cool place.

Excessive watering

If people drink too much water, their stomachs will bloat. The same goes for flowers, especially fleshy herbs. They should not be watered too much, otherwise the roots and stems will absorb too much water and fail to grow normally, causing the leaves to turn yellow and slowly fall off. Watering once every two or three days is enough.

Too low air humidity

Flowers like glass jade like to grow in a space with humid air. The suitable air humidity is about 40%-50%. If it is in a dry air environment, its leaves will slowly lose their green color, gradually turn yellow and even wither and fall off. You can use spray to replenish water to the flowers to ensure the humidity of the air.

Too little fertilization

Flowers also need nutrition. If too little fertilizer is applied, the stems and leaves will turn yellow, which will not only affect growth but also the flowering cycle. Therefore, fertilize every 8-10 days during the growing period. It is best to use fertilizer water for absorption, but the concentration of the fertilizer solution should be controlled between 0.2% and 0.3%. It is enough to fertilize once about 14 days after flowering.

Tips

Glass jade is not only beautiful in appearance but also has the function of filtering the surrounding air. It is also a major feature for decorating and beautifying the room. In addition, don’t forget to clean the glass jade regularly.
