White orchid's water requirements

1. Watering frequency

During its growth process, white orchid has a certain demand for water. It likes a humid growing environment and is more water-loving. It needs more watering during its growth, but it cannot tolerate waterlogging. The growth conditions are different in different seasons, so the frequency of watering is different. Spring is the budding period of white jasmine. At this time, you can water it every 2-3 days to keep the soil in the pot moist, so that there is enough water to supply growth. It grows vigorously in summer and needs to be watered once every morning and evening. In autumn, transpiration decreases, so water can be given every 5 days or so. Winter is special, and the demand for water is very little, so it is sufficient to water it every 10 days and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist.

2. Water thoroughly

Every time you water, you must ensure that it is watered thoroughly. Do not water only halfway, otherwise the roots below will still not be able to absorb water. Long-term water shortage may cause the roots to wither. Do not water too much, as it has fleshy roots, and excessive watering will easily lead to root rot.

3. Treatment of accumulated water

If you accidentally water too much and water accumulates, or if water accumulates during heavy rain, you need to pour it out in time, loosen the soil appropriately to promote water drainage, and place it in a well-ventilated place to evaporate.
