Can succulents survive if they are cut off?

Can succulents survive if they are cut off?

1. Can you survive?

Under normal circumstances, as long as the correct rescue measures are taken after the succulent plant is broken, it can grow roots again and continue to survive. After discovering that it is broken, it should be rescued as soon as possible. Only in this way will it have a greater chance of survival.

2. How to save

If the succulent plant is broken, it should be separated completely and then placed in a well-ventilated location in the home, trying to avoid direct sunlight. It takes about 2-3 days to leave it there, and the implant can only be carried out after the wound is dry and healed. At the same time, prepare semi-moist soil, then place it on the soil, and wait patiently for it to re-root.

3. Notes

1. If there is dirt on the wound of the succulent, you need to wipe it clean first before drying it in the sun. If you plant them directly, the bacteria produced by the attached dirt will harm the plants.

2. When replanting, you should pay attention to the soil quality. The soil must be clean, otherwise the bacteria or pathogens contained in it will gradually harm the growth of the plants.
