1. Cut off rotten roots

After discovering that the plant has root rot, you need to first remove it from the original pot, use a shovel to move along the edge of the pot, support the bottom and slowly take the plant out. Then remove the old soil and shake it off, cut off the rotten roots with scissors, but be careful not to damage other roots. After cutting, rinse them in water, disinfect them with carbendazim, and place the roots aside to dry.

2. Soil Preparation

This situation occurs in winter mostly because too much water is applied, so the soil needs to be readjusted to avoid the presence of pathogens in the original potting soil. The new potting soil can be prepared with leaf mold, garden soil, river sand and perlite to ensure good permeability.

3. Replanting

Cut off the withered branches and leaves, then replant the plant in the pot, making sure the roots can expand. If it was grown hydroponically before, you can also clean and disinfect the container and then grow it hydroponically again.

4. Control water and keep warm

After planting, pay attention to the maintenance environment. First, ensure water control and do not apply too much water to ensure that the soil in the pot remains dry. Also pay attention to keeping warm and take good warming measures to avoid root rot due to cold.
