How to make a potted plant of Suzaku flower

How to make a potted plant of Suzaku flower

Steps to remove the pot

If the flower has already been planted in a pot and you plan to change the pot, you can first pat the four circles of the pot with your hands to allow the roots to separate from the wall. Then put the flower pot upside down on your hand, hold the edge of the pot, knock on the bottom of the pot, and then use your hand to push the soil downwards through the bottom hole, so that the plant can be safely removed.

Prepare the utensils

There is no need to say much about the choice of size, just choose an appropriate one. The holes at the bottom of the pot should be covered with thin foam. This can not only ensure that the soil does not fall from below, but also allow excess water to flow away directly. Then put the prepared broken bricks on the bottom layer. This layer is mainly used to filter water, and the thickness can be 2-3cm.

The process of potting

Add a little organic fertilizer to the bottom of the prepared flowerpot, about 2cm. The substrate should be spread on top of the fertilizer. After spreading 2cm, put the plant in and fill it with some nutrient soil, but don't fill it too slowly. Leave 2-3cm of space at the mouth of the pot.

Pruning after potting

It is necessary to remove weak and diseased branches, but not when they are in full growth spurt. Instead, you have to wait until winter when the plants enter dormancy. This will not cause excessive damage to the plants and will not affect their growth that year. The removed diseased branches cannot be thrown away randomly, but must be burned to prevent the disease from spreading.

Maintenance after production

It is best to keep the surrounding temperature at 20-30℃. If it is lower than this value, it will be difficult to take root. But if it rises above 30℃, the cut position is more likely to be infected by bacteria, and as the temperature rises, the proportion of rot will be greater. So if the surrounding temperature is relatively high, you can put them in a more ventilated place, or spray around to moisturize and cool down. However, if you encounter rainy weather, you can choose not to spray, because the humidity is relatively high at this time and the temperature is not that high.
