What to do if cyclamen does not bloom

What to do if cyclamen does not bloom

1. Control the amount of water

1. Reason: Cyclamen is very afraid of an environment with too much water. If there is too much water, its roots will rot, thus affecting its flowering.

2. Solution: Control the amount of watering. Generally, you can wait until the leaves begin to wilt before watering. And when watering, do not pour water directly on the leaves. You can use the immersion pot method.

2. Increase Lighting

1. Reason: Although it can tolerate partial shade to a certain extent, if it stays in a place with weak light for too long, it will affect the growth of the plant and thus affect flowering.

2. Solution: When caring for it, place it in a well-lit place and move the direction of the flowerpot frequently to prevent it from growing too tall on one side. This will allow it to bloom more and brighter flowers.

3. Increase humidity

1. Reason: When raising it, if the air humidity is too low, it will not be able to obtain enough water, affecting the growth of the plant, and flowering will also be restricted.

2. Solution: Increase the humidity of the air appropriately, usually 60%-70% is best, so as to meet the plant's demand for water and make it grow more vigorously.

4. Improve ventilation

1. Reason: If it is grown in a poorly ventilated environment for a long time, the air will become polluted. At this time, coupled with the pollution of smoke and dust, it will affect the formation of flower buds of the plant, resulting in the inability to bloom in the end.

2. Solution: You should frequently open windows to ventilate the environment where it grows to ensure the air is fresh, so that it can bloom sooner.
