The late rice in southern my country is usually harvested around October 25th each year. The best time to harvest is between October and November. After the rice matures, the best water content is around 20-25%.

Late Rice Production Areas and Yield

The planting time of late rice is relatively late, usually sown in mid-to-late June. It is mostly distributed in southern my country, and the main producing areas include Hunan, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Hubei, Yunnan, Heilongjiang, Chongqing and other provinces.

The yield per mu of late rice can reach about 1,000-1,200 jin. If it is a single-season rice, the yield will be relatively high. If a variety with more potential is planted, the yield per mu can be increased by about 10-20%.
