Breeding methods and precautions of swell coral

The coral reef is a relatively easy plant to grow. It has a strong tolerance to drought and hates a humid growing environment. Therefore, you must pay special attention to it during the maintenance process. It is better to keep it a little dry than to keep it in a too humid environment. Only in this way will the flowers look beautiful.

How to cultivate coral

1. Soil

To cultivate swell corals, you need to prepare breathable, water-permeable, loose and fertile sandy soil, preferably containing a certain amount of humus. Then you need to loosen the soil from time to time and mix garden soil, leaf mold and coarse sand in a ratio of 1:2:3.

2. Light temperature

Expansive coral likes a growing environment with sufficient light, but be careful to avoid direct sunlight. It is best to keep the ambient temperature at around 15-25 degrees Celsius. Expansive coral is also a plant that is not cold-resistant, so be sure to keep warm in winter.

3. Moisture

The coral does not require much water. It only needs to be watered frequently in the summer. At other times, it only needs to be watered in moderation. In the winter, due to the low temperature, the amount of watering should be reduced appropriately.

4. Fertilization

During the growing season in spring and autumn, the coral needs to be fertilized once a month, generally with diluted phosphate fertilizer or potassium fertilizer, but it should be noted that fertilization must be stopped after winter.

Precautions for the care of swell coral

1. Ventilation

The swell coral needs a well-ventilated growing environment, because when it is in a confined space, it will affect its growth and development. It is best to place it in a cool and ventilated location for cultivation.

2. Disease prevention

During the cultivation process, the coral reef can be disinfected and sterilized, and the amount of watering must be controlled to prevent root rot.
