Advantages and disadvantages of Arabian Nights rose

Advantages and disadvantages of Arabian Nights rose

The Arabian Nights rose, also known as Snow Sharad, is a variety loved by many flower lovers. It is a miniature rose and has won many awards in the gardening industry. It can reach one meter in height when planted in the ground. The tree has an upright shape, good branching, and a compact and beautiful plant shape. It is suitable for planting in courtyards, balcony potted plants, etc.

Advantages of Arabian Nights Rose

1. The flowering cycle is very long: a single flower of the Arabian Nights rose can bloom for about a week, and it blooms for multiple seasons, with a flower diameter of 7-8 cm.

2. The petals are unique: Compared with ordinary roses, the petals of Arabian Nights rose are very standard, pointed in the front, mostly in gradient colors, and the bottom of the petals are pink and white. This combination adds a different visual feeling to people.

3. A large number of flowers: There are many flower buds on each branch of the Arabian Nights, most of which are 4-5. No matter whether they are planted in large plots of land or in small pots, they all look like a large area after being planted, giving people a pleasing feeling.

4. Very good disease resistance: Arabian Nights rose is suitable for beginners to grow, so it almost never gets sick. Powdery mildew that is common in spring is rare, so it has a long lifespan.

Disadvantages of Arabian Nights Rose

The disadvantage of the Arabian Nights rose is that it is prone to black spot disease, especially in the summer. It cannot withstand temperatures around 30 degrees. The edges of the flowers become scorched, and the color of the flowers is also light in hot weather, and the flower shape is easy to disperse.

Maintenance points of Arabian Nights

1. Get more sun: Arabian Nights is suitable for maintenance in sunny places. Only with sufficient sunlight can it produce more flower buds. However, it should be noted that it is not resistant to strong light exposure. If the temperature exceeds 30 degrees in summer, it should be moved to a semi-shaded place indoors for maintenance.

2. Apply thin fertilizers frequently: If you want the Arabian Nights to bloom more, you must provide sufficient fertilizers, especially compound fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium. This can promote the differentiation of flower buds. You can apply Huaduoduo and potassium dihydrogen phosphate once every half a month.

3. Watering in time: Arabian Nights likes a humid environment. Water it in time during the growth period to ensure that the soil is moist so that it will bloom vigorously. The temperature in summer is relatively high and water evaporates more, so watering needs to be increased, but water accumulation must be avoided.
