How long does it take for peppers to germinate?

It usually takes about 7-15 days for peppers to germinate. The germination time of peppers is not fixed. If the pepper seeds are of good quality and the surrounding temperature and humidity are suitable, the seeds will germinate quickly. If we want to speed up the germination of peppers, we need to select seeds of good quality, dry them, disinfect them, and then perform germination treatment.

Pepper germination time

Peppers germinate very quickly, in about 7 days. At the same time, you need to prepare sandy soil, disinfect the soil with carbendazim and water it, then sow the seeds in the soil and strengthen management to grow better pepper seedlings.

Management of pepper after germination

1. During the germination period of peppers, a large amount of water is not required. Just water it once when sowing to keep the soil moist. If the amount of water is too much, you can sprinkle some wood ash.

2. It is recommended not to water in the early stage of seedling emergence. Watering is only needed when the soil turns white. Watering should be done at noon on a sunny day. At the same time, ventilation and dehumidification measures should be taken after watering.

3. After the seedlings emerge, we must prevent diseases and insect pests, and beware of aphids and planthoppers. Once these pests are found, we need to take pest control measures in time. It is recommended to spray contact insecticides on the seedbed. Of course, if there are weeds in the pepper seedlings, they need to be removed in time.
