Can mountain roses adapt to the pot during the dormant period?

Can mountain roses adapt to the pot during the dormant period?

1. Environment:

Mountain roses grow best in a dry, ventilated, warm environment with plenty of sunlight.

2. Soaking basin:

Soak the pot used for mountain roses in water diluted with potassium permanganate for half an hour and then rinse it clean. The soil for mountain roses to adapt to the pot can be fertile, breathable granular soil or river sand, and then the mountain roses that have been dried in the sun can be directly inserted into the pot.

3. Lighting:

It is best not to expose mountain roses to the sun after planting to prevent dehydration and death. They should be placed in a well-ventilated place indoors. Don't move it at will, let alone water it.

4. Management:

Whether mountain roses can adapt to the pot smoothly, management during the acclimatization period is very important. When preparing the soil, it is best to add some carbendazim or rooting powder, which can disinfect and help the growth of the roots of succulents. Then put it in a cool and ventilated place for 7-10 days and it will recover.

Mountain roses are relatively fragile at this time and can easily die if you are not careful. Do not water it during the acclimatization period. The roots of mountain roses can repair themselves. Watering will burden it and it will not be able to absorb the water, but will instead rot the roots. After a week, just water the pot lightly.

How can I know whether the mountain rose has adapted to the pot? Just look at its leaves carefully. After the plant acclimates to the pot, the leaves will become plump and firm, while the outer leaves will continue to turn yellow, dry up, become soft and fall off in order to provide nutrients to the mother plant. But not all the leaves on the outer circle will fall off, only three or five leaves will fall off. You can tell it's settling in the pot.

The above are the things to pay attention to when mountain roses are acclimatizing during the dormant period. I hope it can help you.
