What are the cultivation methods and precautions of diamond jadeite?

Diamond Jade Growth Habits

Diamond Jade prefers a cool and dry growing environment and has a weak cold resistance. The suitable growth temperature is between 10-25 degrees. It is relatively easy to maintain. Spring and autumn are its growing seasons and it can be exposed to full sunlight. In summer, it can be shaded and moved indoors to a sunny place for maintenance in winter.

Diamond Jade Cultivation Method

1. Lighting

Diamond jade is a sun-loving plant. It needs to be provided with sufficient sunlight during its growth period and maintain 6 hours of diffuse light every day. This will promote its more vigorous growth. If the intensity of sunlight is high in summer, pay attention to proper shading.

2. Watering

The best time to water Diamond Jade is in the morning or evening. Water it thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. However, be careful not to let water accumulate in the soil. Just keep the soil slightly moist. In addition, in summer when the temperature is high, you can water it twice a day, and in winter when the temperature is lower, just keep the soil from drying out.

3. Soil

When cultivating diamond jade, you should choose fertile, loose, and well-drained culture soil. If you prepare it yourself, you can use humus soil, garden soil and coarse sand to mix into nutrient soil.

Precautions for diamond and jadeite maintenance

In the process of cultivating diamond jade, diseases and pests rarely occur, but more prevention is still necessary. The breeding environment can be kept ventilated and the indoor humidity can be appropriately increased. If diseases or pests occur, it is necessary to spray drugs in time for prevention and control, otherwise it will be detrimental to the normal growth of the plants.
