The growth environment and local conditions of Nanmu

Nanmu growth environment and conditions

Nanmu is more suitable for maintenance in a humid environment. It usually needs a good ventilation environment, which can reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests. When maintaining it, it must have sufficient sunlight. It is mainly distributed in western Hubei, northwestern Guizhou, Sichuan, Hunan and other places in my country.

Phoebe growth conditions

Nanmu generally grows in a moist, semi-shady environment. When planting, people usually choose soil with deep, fertile and loose soil. It should have sufficient sunlight and the soil should be kept moist.

Phoebe growth temperature

When nanmu is growing, the temperature needs to be kept between 0-38 degrees. It has good resistance to high temperatures and cold weather, so it can grow in an environment of minus 10 degrees.

The growth process of nanmu

The growth cycle of nanmu is relatively long. It takes about 50-60 years to grow the heartwood, and this time is its peak growth period. The heartwood is converted through sapwood. This process represents its adult stage, and the growth of the heartwood will take another 50-100 years.

Nanmu planting time and method

Nanmu generally has no requirements for the planting time and can be planted all the year round. Before planting, sufficient base fertilizer needs to be applied to the soil to allow it to have enough nutrients for growth. Weeding should be carried out in time, and there should be sufficient sunlight. Watering should also be carried out in time during maintenance.
