The process of garlic sprouts germination

Garlic sprouts should generally be peeled first and then neatly placed in a plate. Place a thin layer of cotton wool at the bottom of the plate, then pour some water on it and wait for it to sprout.

On the second day, the top of the garlic sprout will gradually crack, revealing a light green bud. At the same time, there will be some short fibrous roots at the root. After about a week, the garlic sprout will grow to about 12 cm tall and will be all forked and green in color. Then it only takes about five more days for the garlic sprout to be basically grown and about 15 cm tall.

Garlic seedling sowing time

The best time to sow garlic sprouts is generally around March or July. Spring and autumn are generally more suitable for sowing garlic sprouts, and their growth rate will be faster. It usually takes half a month to germinate and emerge from the soil.

The appearance of garlic sprouts

The sprouts of garlic sprouts are usually green and tender when they first sprout, and relatively short. After about a week, the sprouts will gradually grow longer and feel relatively harder.
