Tips for picking pomegranates

Tips for picking pomegranates

1. Techniques

Wash the pomegranate in advance, then use a fruit knife to cut a circle two or three centimeters around the pomegranate pedicel. Be careful to cut lightly to avoid damaging the fruit inside the fruit. Then, use the pedicel to slightly push outwards to remove the top cover. Then use a knife to cut from top to bottom along the white membrane lines of the fruit. Then, gently break it open with your hands and it is ready to eat.

2. Morphological characteristics

The pomegranate has dark brown roots and is usually 5 to 7 meters tall. The trunk is gray-brown and the leaves are opposite or clustered. They are long lanceolate or oblong, about 2 to 8 cm long and 1 to 2 cm wide. The flowers are white, and also come in yellow and pink colors, with obovate petals.
