How to grow green radish well

How to grow green radish well

1. Reasonable fertilization

If you want to grow the green radish well, you should give it sufficient nutrients. If the leaves of the plant become smaller and turn yellow, you should replenish nutrients for it in time. You can use flower fertilizer for fertilization. Applying too much fertilizer will affect its growth. You can apply less fertilizer each time and increase the frequency appropriately. However, when the temperature is high in summer, reduce the amount of fertilizer.

2. Suitable lighting

Light conditions also determine the growth of the green radish. It should receive sufficient scattered light and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible. Especially in summer, shade measures need to be taken. If it is sunburned, it will have symptoms such as dry tips and yellow spots. On the contrary, it cannot be grown in a dark environment for a long time, as this will easily cause the plant to grow too tall.

3. Watering in moderation

If you want to grow the green radish well, it is essential to water it in moderation. It likes a slightly moist growing environment. You should water it in time and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist. But the amount of watering should not be too much. Once water accumulates, it will easily cause root rot. In the summer when the weather is dry, you can water more appropriately and spray water on the leaves frequently to increase the humidity of the breeding environment.

4. Improve ventilation

The air circulation in the cultivation environment is good, so the green radish will grow stronger. When caring for the plant at home, it is necessary to open the windows frequently. If the plant is allowed to grow in a hot and unventilated environment for a long time, its leaves will easily turn yellow.
