Cultivation methods and precautions of red flower

Red flowered sempervivum is easy to grow and has very strong vitality. It is suitable for planting in spring and has a relatively high survival rate. Red flowered sempervivum is a shrub with ribbon-like flowers. Its peak flowering period is generally in summer and it has a relatively high ornamental value.

The breeding method of red flower

1. Lighting

The red-flowered sempervivum likes plenty of light, but in the summer, it needs proper shading. In the winter, it can be given full sunlight so that the leaves of the red-flowered sempervivum will remain red for a long time.

2. Watering

Red flowered sempervivum is more suitable for growing in a humid environment. It needs an appropriate amount of water during the growth period. The potting soil should not be too dry or too moist. It is best to adopt the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry, and watering thoroughly when watering.

3. Pruning

The growth rate of red flowered sempervivum is relatively fast and needs to be pruned frequently. In the later stage, some old branches, diseased branches, dead branches, overlapping branches and other redundant branches can be cut off to maintain nutrients.

Precautions for the maintenance of red flower

When caring for the red flowered sempervivum, you should pay attention to the fact that the red flowered sempervivum is a relatively resistant plant to barrenness and does not require much fertilizer during its growth. You can apply a thin phosphorus and potassium fertilizer once every 60 days or so, and the fertilizer should be appropriately diluted with water. Otherwise, if the concentration is too high, it will affect the growth and development of the red flowered sempervivum.
