Orange Monroe cultivation methods and precautions

Orange Monroe cultivation methods and precautions

1. Maintenance methods

1. Flower soil: When growing Orange Monroe, you must carefully select the soil, as it has certain requirements for the soil quality. The flower soil used should have strong air permeability and good drainage ability, because the plant is very afraid of waterlogging.

2. Watering: When replenishing water, usually just don’t water it unless the soil is dry. If you want to water it, you should water it thoroughly. Do not water too much in summer or winter, and do not allow excess water to accumulate in the soil. Especially in winter, it is okay for the flower soil to be slightly dry.

3. Light: Orange Monroe likes a growing environment with sufficient sunlight. The place where it is maintained must have good light so that it can grow well. In spring, autumn and winter, the plants can be given full-day light.

4. Temperature: During the maintenance period, the highest temperature should not be higher than 35℃. When it is higher than this temperature, it should be cooled down as soon as possible. When caring for it in winter, the temperature needs to be adjusted to around 5°C and it also needs more sunlight.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Reproduction: When propagating, leaf cuttings are often used. Choose the fullest leaves, then place them in a windy place to dry, and then place them on the soil after the wounds are dry. Be careful not to stick it into the soil.

2. Pruning: When repotting the Orange Monroe, you need to give it a simple pruning. At this time, pruning generally involves pruning the roots, and all rotten roots, withered roots and some aging roots should be pruned away.

3. Problem diagnosis and treatment

If the maintenance environment is very stuffy and the ventilation is not very good, many small insects will appear, which will harm the growth of the plants, such as red spider mites, scale insects and whiteflies. Generally, if the number is small, you can remove them manually. If the number is large, you need to use pesticides to kill them.

IV. Other issues

1. Prevent diseases and pests: During maintenance, try to keep the breeding environment well ventilated and not too stuffy. If the climate is too humid, it will attract pests and diseases. Moreover, the soil must be disinfected before use.

2. Soil preparation method: Many flower lovers will prepare the soil by themselves. In fact, the soil preparation method is very simple. You only need to mix the granular soil and coal slag together. For granular soil, perlite, medical stone or vermiculite can usually be used.
