1. Morphological characteristics

1. Roots: The roots of dandelions are curved in shape. The shortest root is only 4cm long and the longest can reach 10cm. The roots are brown and slightly wrinkled.

2. Leaves: Its leaves vary in length, some can grow to 20cm, and the shortest is only 4cm. They are obovate-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate. The petiole is purple-red and the edges of the leaves have wavy serrations.

3. Flowers: They usually bloom from April to September. The upper part of the peduncle is purple-red and the inflorescence head is light green. The ligulate flowers are yellow, and the anthers and stigmas of the flowers are dark green.

4. Fruit: The skin of the achene is dark brown in color and obovate-lanceolate in shape. It is very small, only 4-5mm in length.

2. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: Try to control the maintenance temperature at 20℃. The highest temperature should not exceed 30℃, otherwise its growth state will deteriorate.

2. Water: The soil should have a certain humidity during maintenance, and it should not be too dry. Water when the soil is dry or wet. It should be noted that less watering is required in severe winter.

3. Light: It grows fastest and best in a well-lit location, and sufficient light is also beneficial to its flowering. During the breeding period, it should be placed in a place with sufficient light.
