How to grow glass jade in summer

How to grow glass jade in summer

Maintenance environment:

Glass Jade particularly likes a warm and humid environment, and the temperature is most suitable between 18 and 25 degrees. It should not be exposed directly to the sun in summer, as this will cause the leaves of the glass jade to turn yellow. If the exposure time is too long, the glass jade will slowly wither and die.

Watering:

Glass jade is neither drought-resistant nor water-resistant. It can easily die in a long period of drought, and its roots will rot if it stays in too moist soil for a long time. Therefore, you must be careful when watering in summer. Do not wait until the soil is dry before watering, and water accumulation is strictly prohibited. Before watering, you can put the water in the sun for a while, or keep it in the bottle for a few days before watering.

Cooling and moisturizing:

To cool down in summer, you can spray water around the plants. In addition to cooling down, it can also increase the humidity of the air. Glass Jade has high requirements for the humidity of the environment. Spraying water is also an indispensable step in daily maintenance. You can even spray water twice a day. If the glass jade is in the flowering period, be careful not to spray water on the flowers.

Water plug:

For propagation in summer, you can use the water cutting method. The survival rate of water cutting is higher and the rooting speed is also faster. Just put the cuttings in clean water. The temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees. It will take about half a month to 20 degrees to take root.
