Don’t throw away the dying green radish. Just cut it with a pair of scissors and it will be green again in a month!

Don’t throw away the dying green radish. Just cut it with a pair of scissors and it will be green again in a month!

When the leaves and stems of the green radish are dry, shave them off immediately!

If the green radish is deprived of water for a long time and is exposed to the sun, its leaves and stems will dry up. As long as the bottom of the stem is still green, it means there is no problem with the root system. At this time, just give it a short flat head!

Rescue specific operations:

1. Keep at least one bud at the bottom of the green radish, and cut off the rest of the dry and yellow parts.

2. Place the cut green radish in a well-lit and ventilated place. Water it after the soil in the pot becomes dry. You can spray water on the surface of the pot more often.

3. In order to make the green radish sprout new buds faster, you can cover the flower pot with a transparent film or plastic bag, but be sure to poke a few holes in the film, so that it can achieve the effect of moisturizing and ventilation.

4. After about 10 days, you will find fresh and tender sprouts emerging on the stems of the green radish.

5. When new buds emerge, you can put the green ivy in a well-lit place for care. Pay attention to spraying water more often and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist, and the green ivy will become green again.

If the roots of the green radish are rotten, cut them off immediately!

After one summer, most of the green ivy plants of many flower lovers died. The main reason is that too much watering causes the roots of the green radish to rot. However, the rotten roots of the green ivy can still be saved, as long as you are cruel enough to cut it!

1. Rescue operation when stems and leaves are healthy:

1. If only the roots of the green radish are rotten and most of the stems and leaves are still relatively healthy, you can cut off the healthy branches and divide them into small sections, leaving a bud and a leaf on each section.

2. Use the pruned branches for cuttings. The soil for cuttings can be prepared by mixing three parts of peat soil and 1 part of perlite. After preparing the soil, insert the branches into the soil with the leaves facing up.

3. After cuttings, water thoroughly and place in a well-lit and ventilated place for maintenance. Spray water every day to maintain humidity, or cover the pot with a plastic bag.

4. In about 1-2 weeks, small buds will emerge from the bud points.

5. After sprouting, you can safely place the green radish in a well-lit place for care.

2. Rescue operations when a large number of leaves turn yellow:

1. If the root rot of the green radish is severe and most of the leaves have turned yellow, cut off the relatively healthy stems, remove the yellow leaves, cut the stems into small sections, and retain a node on each section.

2. When pruning branches, it is best to choose those with aerial roots at the nodes, so that rooting will be faster.

3. The soil for cuttings can be a mixture of perlite and peat soil. Place the end with aerial roots facing down, spread it flat on the soil surface, and water it thoroughly.

4. Spray some water on the surface of the pot more often and keep it under diffuse light for about 10 days. Small buds will emerge, indicating that the green radish cuttings are successful!
