How to plant passion fruit seeds and how to raise seedlings

1. How to plant passion fruit seeds

1. Prepare seeds: First prepare some healthy and plump passion fruit seeds and wash them in clean water. Then soak them in clean water at 20-30℃ for about 5 hours to soften the seed coat. Then, wrap them in wet paper towels and place them in a dark environment with a temperature between 25-32℃, and wait for them to turn white.

2. Prepare materials: Planting passion fruit seeds requires loose, breathable and fertile soil. Planting soil can be prepared by mixing garden soil and river sand. After preparing the soil, place them in the sun for disinfection.

3. Planting: Put the soil that has been exposed to the sun and disinfected into a seedling container with good permeability and level the soil surface. Then place the white seeds on the soil surface and cover them with a thin layer of sand to prevent them from being blown away by the wind.

4. Later maintenance: After sowing, place them in a warm environment of about 25℃, spray water into the soil in time to maintain humidity, and wait for them to germinate. Generally speaking, if the environment is suitable, they will germinate within a week.

2. How to grow passion fruit seedlings

When cultivating passion fruit seedlings, place them in a warm place with a temperature of about 25°C. During the cultivation period, keep it ventilated, keep warm, and spray water from time to time to allow it to receive light, but if the sun is very strong, it needs to be shaded to prevent it from being sunburned. Newly sprouted seedlings do not need fertilizer. Wait until its root system has initially grown before applying fertilizer.
