The solution is: cut off the dry and small roots, cut off the rotten parts, cut the main root to only 2-3cm, then place it in a place where the sun can't reach it for a few days, plant it in slightly moist soil, and water it every four or five days. Make sure the soil inside does not dry out completely.

Don’t be naive to think that you can grow new roots by soaking the roots in a small pot. You must remove the rotten roots and then dry them in the sun before replanting. Otherwise, this mess will really become a "Messy" mess!
