Causes and treatments of yellow leaves of silverfish

1. Unsuitable soil

Reason: If the soil selected has poor drainage, the water cannot penetrate into the soil in time, the silverfish cannot get enough water, and yellow leaves will appear.

Solution: The soil needs to be replaced in time. Replace it with loose soil with good permeability and drainage.

2. Insufficient light

Reason: If it is placed in a dark place without sufficient light, it will not be able to synthesize chlorophyll normally, which will also cause the leaves of the plant to turn yellow.

Solution: Move the succulent plant to a well-lit place for maintenance, ensuring that the daily light intake is no less than 6 hours. It needs sun protection in the summer, so you can keep it indoors and let it receive scattered sunlight.

3. Overwatering

Reason: Excessive watering will cause water accumulation in the soil, affecting the breathing of the plant roots. Once the roots are damaged, the plant's ability to absorb water and nutrients from the soil will be impaired. If the leaves are not supplied with enough water and nutrients, they will turn yellow.

Solution: Move it to a well-ventilated place, then loosen the soil to make the soil breathable so that excess water in the pot can evaporate quickly. Be careful when loosening the soil, carefully insert the shovel into the soil, and shake it gently to loosen it. The frequency of watering needs to be reduced in subsequent maintenance.
