It is mainly produced in Hunan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong and southeastern Yunnan.

During its growth process, the green poplar also needs sufficient nutrients and organic fertilizers. The fertilizers should be applied evenly to the soil.
