How to make Jade Dew grow fast and compactly

How to make Jade Dew grow fast and compactly

1. Suitable soil

If you want the jade plant to grow quickly, the soil must have good air permeability. When preparing the soil, add more than 70% granular soil, and the particle size should be between 2-5 mm. In addition, when potting, you should put a layer of tiles or stones at the bottom of the pot to improve drainage, so that water is not easily accumulated, which can avoid root rot. The plant can also breathe better in such a soil environment and promote growth.

2. Water appropriately

It is very drought-resistant and does not require frequent watering during maintenance. Just water it when you find the soil surface becomes dry, but be careful not to overwater. There should be no water accumulation in the soil at any time. If the plant is kept in a humid environment for a long time, the roots will not be able to breathe well and cannot provide water and nutrients to the plant, so its growth will naturally slow down.

3. Adequate lighting

If you want it to grow better and faster, you must give it appropriate light. During the growing season, it should be placed in a place with diffuse light and exposed to more light, so that the leaves will accumulate a lot of nutrients, promoting fast growth and good condition. If the plant does not see the sun for a long time, the overall shape of the plant will become loose and it will tend to grow too tall, reducing its appearance.

4. Adequate nutrients

Under normal growth conditions, the nutrients in the soil can meet its needs, but if you want it to grow faster, you need to supplement nutrients. During the peak growing season, you should apply thin fertilizers frequently and water the diluted fertilizer solution on the soil surface. The plants will absorb it quickly, thereby promoting more vigorous growth and faster growth.
