How to grow lilies? Can you grow lilies at home?

1. How to plant

1. Time selection: Before planting lilies, you need to choose the right time to ensure the survival rate. Spring and autumn are both suitable times with suitable climate. If you want to promote good growth, it is best to choose around September-October in autumn.

2. Choose a pot and match the soil: Its root system is relatively developed, so choose a larger flower pot to ensure the growth of a developed root system. The soil needs to be acidic, with garden soil or peat soil as the main soil type, and sand, perlite, vermiculite, etc. added to increase the air permeability.

3. Bulb selection: Choose suitable bulbs. Do not use bulbs that are too small. Larger bulbs have a higher germination rate. Do not choose small and shriveled bulbs. After selection, handle it appropriately, trim the rotten roots at the bottom, place it in a carbendazim solution for disinfection, take it out after about half an hour, place it aside to dry and wait for use.

4. Start planting: Spread a layer of gravel at the bottom of the flowerpot and then fill it with soil. Plant the bulb in the middle of the flowerpot, then cover it with soil, but don't fill it too full.

5. Later maintenance: After planting, water thoroughly and place in a cool place to wait for germination. Pay attention to ventilation, avoid too strong light, and maintain a suitable growth temperature.
