1. When to plant

It is necessary to choose the right time to plant lilies. The climate factors at that time can affect the later growth and determine the survival rate. Spring or autumn are both suitable times, as the climate is mild and suitable for planting and growth. The best time to plant is from August to September in autumn, when the temperature can be basically maintained at around 15℃, which is very suitable for growth and germination. If it is planted in potted plants, the time can be postponed appropriately, and it is okay to wait until September or October to plant. If you miss the planting time that year, you can wait until around March of the following spring. It is not that planting is impossible at other times, but the survival rate may be lower because the climate is not suitable.

2. How to plant

1. Soil: Prepare the soil before planting. The prepared soil should be permeable to facilitate the bulbs to breathe, and should not be too sticky. Do not use a single type of soil. You can add sand, perlite, etc. to increase the air permeability.

2. Bulbs: Choose suitable bulbs and screen out unqualified bulbs, such as those with damaged appearance, those that are too small and dry, or those with diseases and insect pests. Prepare full and larger bulbs. After selecting, remove the skin and disinfect it.

3. Planting: Prepare the soil, plant the bulbs in it, cover with a layer of soil and water, and carefully maintain and wait for germination.
