1. Soil: When growing purple joy succulents, you need to use soil that is loose and breathable. If it is too sticky, it will affect the breathing of the roots. When preparing the soil, mainly use peat soil and coconut coir, and add a small amount of vermiculite and perlite.

2. Sunlight: It prefers sufficient light. Only when there is good light at normal times will it look more compact and its leaves will be thicker. The position of the flower pot should also be rotated regularly to allow the entire plant to receive light evenly.

3. Water: This is a variety with a certain degree of drought resistance. Although you don’t need to water it too much under normal circumstances, you should ensure that it has sufficient water. During the growing season, do not water unless the soil is dry, and try to keep the soil moist. Be careful not to get wet in the rain as water may accumulate easily.

4. Overwintering: It is very intolerant to cold, so it needs to be kept in a warm place indoors. It is recommended to place it on the balcony so that it can get more sunlight.

2. Maintenance Note

When the temperature is high in summer, it must not exceed 35℃, and it is necessary to cool down in time after the temperature rises in midsummer. Also, be sure to open windows for ventilation and do not let the breeding environment become too stuffy.
