Clivia is long-lived. Piece a leaf and throw it into the soil, and big white roots will sprout!

Break off the leaves of Clivia and bury them in the soil. One pot can become 10 pots in half a year.

1. Prepare a Clivia, break off the leaves from bottom to top (make sure to keep the white part), and soak it in rooting powder solution before cutting.

2. Then insert the leaves of Clivia into the nutrient cup we prepared. The substrate can be nutrient soil or vermiculite.

3. Place the grafted Clivia in a tray and use the immersion method to replenish water for the plant. Generally, new roots will grow in 30 days.

4. After the Clivia has taken root, we can find a large flowerpot to plant it. The soil can be a mixture of pine needle soil and sand and gravel in equal proportions. (It is best to plant it at an angle to facilitate germination)

5. You can dig up the soil with your hands and soak the pot for 30 minutes if the substrate inside feels dry. As long as you take good care of it, new sprouts will appear in three months at the fastest and half a year at the slowest.

6. If the plant has not yet produced new buds, we can use a knife to make a small cut on the inside of the leaf close to the soil, and apply vitamin B6 injection to induce germination.

If you bury the leaves of the longevity tree in the soil, new buds will appear in one month.

1. When we plant Kalanchoe through leaf cuttings, it is best to choose leaves with obvious bud points, and when breaking off the leaves, try to keep as much stem tissue as possible on the petiole to make it easier for buds to grow.

2. Throw the broken leaves in a well-lit and ventilated place. After the wounds are dried for 2 hours, hold the leaves in your hand and insert the petiole into the soil at an angle. (It is best to have the leaves facing up)

3. After the cuttings are done, we use the immersion pot method to replenish water for the plants until the soil surface is moist, and then place them in a ventilated place out of direct sunlight for maintenance.

4. When you feel the soil surface turns white, water it thoroughly. Generally, new roots will grow in 10 days and small buds will appear in 30 days.

5. After sprouting, transplant the Kalanchoe into a seedling cup or a small flower pot, and gradually increase the light intensity until the seedlings can receive full-day sunlight.

6. When the seedlings grow four pairs of leaves, pinch off the top two pairs of leaves. Wait until the side branches grow four pairs of leaves and pinch them again. Repeat three times and the plants will be lush with flowers and leaves.

Cut the snake plant into pieces and throw them into the water. In 3 months, a large pot will be grown.

1. Select a sturdy snake plant leaf and use a pair of sharp scissors (disinfect with alcohol before use) to cut the snake plant into several small sections (more than 5 cm in length).

2. Place the cut leaves of the tiger skin plant in a well-ventilated place for half a day to dry. Wait until the wound is dry before hydroponics. Otherwise, it is easy to be infected with bacteria.

3. Put the dried snake plant vertically into the water with a depth of 3 to 5 cm. Be careful not to insert it upside down, otherwise it will not take root.

4. In the early stage of hydroponics, place it in a place with diffuse light and replace it with dried tap water every 4 to 5 days on average. New roots will grow in about 10 days.

5. After one month of hydroponics, we observe that the snake plant has more roots. We can add 1 drop of nutrient solution when changing the water, and new shoots will sprout in about 2 months.

6. When the tiger skin plant seedlings grow to 10 cm, they can be taken out and planted in the soil. When transplanting, we can continue to keep the mother leaves, or we can break off the mother leaves.

7. After transplanting, water the seeds to help them take root and place them in a well-ventilated place with diffused light. If the seedlings have not become soft after a week, you can maintain them normally.
