When does the red umbrella bloom?

1. Flowering time

The natural flowering period of red parasol is around May and June, but it may be advanced due to maintenance reasons, and of course the flowering period may be delayed. It is normal if its flowering time is delayed by 1-2 months, but if it is delayed longer, then the maintenance method must be changed.

Its flowers are white and its fruits are bright red. It will bear fruit about half a year after flowering, that is, from October to December. Sometimes, it will delay fruiting until February to April in spring.

2. How to make it bloom

1. Watering: During the breeding period, attention should be paid to water replenishment, and the plants should not be in a state of long-term water shortage. If the soil is too dry, it will not only affect flowering, but also normal growth.

2. Fertilization: When it is about to bloom, do not apply nitrogen fertilizer. You can apply some potassium dihydrogen phosphate. Appropriate spraying will also promote it to bloom. When the temperature is high or low, fertilization should be stopped.

3. Temperature: The temperature of the maintenance environment is best between 20 and 28 degrees. The temperature within this range is very beneficial for its growth and flowering. When the temperature rises, you need to cool down appropriately, and when the temperature drops, you need to keep warm.
