How to grow money trees and banyan trees, what are the differences?

How to grow money trees and banyan trees, what are the differences?

1. Breeding methods

1. Light: Both are light-loving plants. They should be placed in a well-lit place during maintenance. Potted plants can be placed on the balcony to allow them to get as much sun as possible, but be careful to provide shade in time in summer to avoid strong light.

2. Temperature: They like warmth and cannot tolerate low temperatures. The best temperature is around 20 degrees. When the temperature is low in winter, they should be moved indoors for maintenance in time. The minimum temperature cannot be lower than 5 degrees.

3. Watering: When watering them during maintenance, the soil in the pot should not be too dry or too full, just keep it moist. If there is too much water, water accumulation will easily occur, causing root rot and affecting growth.

4. Fertilization: The growing seasons for both are in spring and autumn, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer frequently to supplement nutrients. The main fertilizer to choose is nitrogen fertilizer. Do not splash it on the leaves when applying it. Water the plants after application to dilute the fertilizer in time.

2. The difference between the two

There is a clear difference between the two when looking at the leaves. The leaves of the money tree are larger and longer in shape, while the leaves of the banyan tree are smaller and more round in shape. In addition, the plant shapes of the two are also different. The money tree has fewer branches and an upright shape. The banyan tree has many branches and a wider shape.

<<:  Clivia has green leaves but no flowers. Try changing the fertilizer and it will bloom red flowers every year.
