When to transplant the seeds of fortune

When to transplant the seeds of fortune

If the growth rate of the fortune seeds is too fast during the cultivation process and the flower pot is not suitable for growth, or the cultivation time is more than one year, it can be transplanted and repotted. The new potting soil can provide better nutrients to the fortune seeds, promote the growth of the plant's roots, and make the plant grow more luxuriantly.

Transplanting time of Fugui seeds

It is suitable to transplant the fortune seeds in spring. The temperature in spring is warm and the temperature changes little, which is suitable for the growth of the plant. It cannot be transplanted in summer or winter. Too high or too low temperature is not conducive to the fortune seeds to adapt to the pot.

Transplantation method of fugui seeds

1. Remove from the basin

Stop watering 1-2 days before transplanting the lucky seeds to promote the drying of the potting soil. Use a screwdriver to make a circle around the pot to separate the pot wall from the soil of the plant. Then take out the lucky seeds, remove some of the old soil, keep the root ball together, cut off dead roots, rotten roots, and decayed roots with sterilized scissors, and place them in a cool place to dry.

2. Prepare the soil

The seeds of the Chinese calamus like loose, fertile, slightly acidic soil. You can choose leaf mold, garden soil, and river sand, mix them evenly in a ratio of 5:3:2, and use it as the new culture soil. Put the prepared soil in the sun for 1-2 days and set it aside.

3. Transplanting method

Prepare a flower pot with good air permeability, put a piece of old rubble at the bottom of the pot, spread a layer of culture soil, put the rich seed plant into the pot, continue to fill with culture soil, then compact the soil, water and plant it.

Management after transplanting the seeds of fortune

After transplanting the seeds of the Chinese calamus, place them in a well-ventilated place indoors to allow them to grow slowly. Strong light should not be seen at this time, and it is suitable for maintenance in semi-shade. The seedling growth period is 15-20 days. After the plants have adapted to the pot, they can be maintained and managed normally.
