Lily bulb planting time

The most suitable time to plant lily bulbs is from February to March in spring, because the temperature is basically stable at this time, and the lily bulbs can germinate better after planting. In addition, the warm climate in the later period is also conducive to flowering. Generally, the flowers can be appreciated about 60 days after planting. If the lily bulbs are not treated with low temperature, you can choose to plant them in October-November in autumn.

Lily bulb harvest time

Lily bulbs will not be harvested until the second year of planting. The specific harvesting time is in autumn, when they can be harvested and put on the market. You need to pay attention to the time when harvesting, it should not be too early or too late. In the Yangtze River Basin, they are generally harvested in early August, while in the northern region they are harvested and put on the market in early September.

After planting the lily bulbs, place them in a cool and ventilated place, spray them with water appropriately to ensure that the soil is slightly moist. If the surrounding air is relatively dry, spray water frequently to increase the humidity.
