To collect chamomile seeds, you first need to do it when the fruit grows and matures. Just harvest the chamomile seeds and take out the seeds.

Its fruit is grayish white in color and 1-1.5mm in length, which is very small, and the thousand-grain weight of its seeds is only 0.02-0.03g. Because its seeds are relatively small, they need to be mixed with fine sand when planting, and after evenly mixing, they need to be sown into the soil and covered with plastic wrap.

When sowing chamomile, you must first choose the right time, because this plant likes a cool growing environment, so it is generally chosen to be sown in autumn. At this time, the climate and temperature environment are more conducive to the germination of chamomile seeds. In the spring of the second year, you can enjoy its beautiful flowers.

How to grow chamomile seeds

Chamomile is suitable for growing in a warm and humid climate, so when cultivating it, try to avoid high temperatures, especially during its growth period, it is more appropriate to control the temperature between 15-18°C. It has good drought resistance. Do not water it too much during maintenance. Watering it once every 7 days is enough. Do not allow too much water to accumulate, otherwise it will cause root rot and the chamomile seeds will die.
