Advantages and Disadvantages of Archangel Rose

Advantages and Disadvantages of Archangel Rose

Archangel rose was only introduced to the market in 2008. It has won many awards and is very popular. When it was first introduced to my country, it was very expensive. With the vigorous expansion of domestic flower merchants, the price only came down a few years ago. It is now one of the most cultivated sun and moon varieties in China.

Advantages of Archangel Rose

1. Archangel can grow to about one meter, and if planted in a potted plant, it should be between 30-60 centimeters. The tree has a good upright shape and good branching ability. The overall tree posture is upright and beautiful. There are very few thorns on the body, almost no thorns, so there is no need to worry about pricking your hands. It is very suitable for home planting.

2. Archangel rose is highly ornamental, with an urn-shaped cup-shaped flower. The petals are arranged very evenly and have a sense of layering. The outer layer is white, while the center of the flower is purple. The whole flower looks fairy-like and has a lemon scent. The closer you are to the flower, the stronger the fragrance.

3. If the Archangel rose is well maintained, it will bloom all year round and it will bloom again very quickly, blooming once every 28 days on average. It will finish blooming this month and you can enjoy the flowers again the next month. There are many flowers, and there are flower buds on both new and old branches. There are flowers on every branch.

Disadvantages of Archangel Rose

The growth rate of Archangel Plant is not very fast, it is relatively slow. Many people are used to pruning Archangel Plant, but the pruning frequency should not be too many and the pruning length should not be too deep, otherwise the recovery period will be relatively long.

Archangel Maintenance Tips

If you want the Archangel Rose to bloom, it first needs sufficient light time. It cannot be placed in a shady place. It must have at least four hours of sun exposure every day. It is best to grow it outdoors. If you grow it on a balcony, it is best to place it on a south balcony.

Secondly, the flower fertilizer must keep up. If you want more flowers, you can't do without investment. You should regularly apply some flower-promoting fertilizer, dilute it with water for watering, and apply thin fertilizer frequently. Thirdly, pruning is essential. Pick off the remaining flowers in time after the flowers bloom, and prune lightly after each wave of flowers bloom to allow the plant to grow more new branches. Once the new branches mature, they will soon bloom.
